Understanding the Challenge


Goodnight Antwerp, enjoyed steady weekend bookings but struggled to fill rooms during the week. This imbalance hindered the hotel’s ability to maximize revenue and achieve consistent ROI growth. While weekends brought in a reliable stream of guests, weekday occupancy gaps left significant revenue untapped. To address this, the hotel sought an effective strategy to attract more weekday visitors and boost overall performance.

The strategy focused on three transformative areas. First, Otamiser deployed its  Booster® to enhance the hotel’s visibility on Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), making it easier for potential guests to discover and book.

Next came the implementation of a customized revenue management strategy, which allowed Otamiser's revenue managers to adjust Goodnight Antwerp's room rates based on real-time demand. This ensured competitive pricing during slower weekdays while maintaining profitability. Finally, the team used advanced analytics to identify underperforming areas and fine-tune their approach. By taking control of the RMS, Otamiser ensured that revenue growth was both effective and sustainable.

Achieving Remarkable Results

By comparing data from December 2021–April 2022 to December 2022–April 2023, Goodnight Antwerp achieved the following:

  • Revenue Growth: Total revenue increased by 27.5%, with inflation-adjusted growth at 18.1%.
  • Higher Occupancy: Average occupancy rose by 26.6%, addressing the weekday challenge effectively.
  • ADR Improvement: The average daily rate grew by 2.1%, even after accounting for inflation.

Goodnight Antwerp’s journey underscores the importance of partnering with industry experts.
